Our story

The light we look for.

Sanjvaat begins in the moment when daylight gives way to evening.

A small evening ritual.

Sanjवात is an age-old tradition in Maharashtra and across India. A deep, a traditional oil lamp, or a candle is lit as the sun begins to set.

This short span of time is neither fully day nor night. Brightness is receding, and the darkness of evening is taking over.

The warm, scented light makes the home feel cosy after a long and tiring day. It is a simple assurance that there will be light tonight.

Sanjvaat carries that feeling into candles shaped like flowers, bringing nature, fragrance and this familiar evening ritual indoors.

Everyone needs that warm blanket of love. Everyone needs a Sanjवात.
